For Labor Day weekend I attended ANIME TORONTO, a brand new baby AnimeCon in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Held at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre North Building, located next to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre on the one side and near Union Station (train, subway, and streetcar station) on the other. Before this year, it was known as the International Fan Festival (IFF), a much more generic nerd convention. The decision was made to rebrand itself as a full Anime Convention. It is now run & managed by the same people responsible for Anime Revolution in Vancouver, British Columbia. That is a con I haven't made it to yet but desperately want to next year. I was definitely jazzed by all the amazing Cosplay worn by my fellow convention attendees.
