So apparently Part 2 of Attack on Titan is coming out in September so yay. And something new related to Steins;Gate, too. Not the movie, though, which I still hold out hope of being picked up and dubbed by FUNimation.
I anticipate Toonami is going to plow on through to the end of Attack on Titan without interruption. I admit, I've fallen behind on watching the show since I got my Part 1 Blu-Ray/DVD combo. It's on my DVR, but I haven't queued it up since of course I could just put in the disc(s) and just watch it whole without commercial interruption up through Episode 13. For some reason my DVR hiccuped and did NOT record Blue Exorcist, so I need to double check that.
I also got an update from Right Stuf! about their current sale on Sentai Filmworks titles, which also gave me a heads up on some of their upcoming new releases, including the English dub of WataMote, which I'm super psyched about, and I also note that Sentai Filmworks is going out on a limb and giving a North American home video release to Aku No Hana, aka Flowers of Evil. This is quite remarkable, given the dismal sales of this show in Japan proper. It was very strongly critically acclaimed by North American anime critics, so I do hope a few collectors pick up this title. I think I shall as well; indeed it will probably be the only sub-only show I buy this year. I am also thinking of buying the compilation film Short Peacewhich features four short films of up and coming animators from Japan. It is this generation's Memories.
Other than that, still eagerly awaiting my other preorders: Evangelion 3.0; Toradora! and the first four episodes of Kill La Kill.
